Tourist Attraction Description:	The old city of Carcassonne gives you a real sense of being there, with live shows in the summer and ramparts and shops to explore.

		I visited Carcassonne castle in May and really enjoyed it - there's a merry go around outside of the castle that my kids loved and the castle itself has free entry and is Massive. The 'old city' is actually all inside the castle wall and there's miles of walkways and 100s of shops and restaurants in the castle itself.
